Me, Robert

Oh, MY.... I have to find time to redecorate all this!! We moved to a new house in Lelystad, Netherlands! :O Will be updated! =================== .... and of cause the street I live in! Left side where the top of the houses bend over the street, middle block, last house... you can't see it, but get the idea ;)

Where? ... in the Netherlands. The city is called Amersfoort. Just take a needle and a map and in de exact center of the country you'll see it.

These houses are a part of a neighborhood designed by Ashok Bhalotra, a city developer. He managed a team of 20 architects in his vision to create a place where you feel at home and having holidays at the same time. All houses, street are different. The main idea was rebuilding the old medieval city center in a new form. In the neighborhood you may find 'wall-houses', Towers, a Fortress, houses build like a ruin, and so on and on....

Maybe I should make a link somewhere about the architecture ;)

Hop in my garden!

So, that's where I live with my sweet Olia, together with my daughter Anne, aged 14 and where my son Joep, aged 10, joins us during some weekends of the month.

Here my love is drawing pastel in the garden!

During weekly days I work as Quality Advisor in the organization for public social security in the Netherlands. I enjoy working in a small team of 6 professionals for this huge organization of 22.000 employees.... always in search for better quality management, improvement, learning by doing, exploring. Seems to be my nature to explore, to experience, dream and work for the better.

By visions the 'new' is achieved. And in my opinion visions are dreams... that's why I believe dream is life, creates life, creates new reality. In fact based on emotions.

That's probably why I'm very fond of poetry, reading it, absorbing it, the emotions, dreams, experiences of people .. and sometimes writing it myself.

Next to that I love to observe and to 'catch the moment', when possible making a photograph of such a moment. Yet, even with an perfect eye, an endless thought, it seems impossible to catch all, the essence, life itself... that can only be enjoyed by living it... and most of all, by sharing it with others....
